Steps to Set Up a Rithmic-Based Connection with Ninja Trader

Complete Account Activation: Before proceeding, ensure you’ve completed all necessary steps to activate your Evaluation Provider Name here account.

Create a NinjaTrader Username:

Go to NinjaTrader.com and sign up for a username.
Confirm your email using the verification link to activate your NinjaTrader username.

Download & Install NinjaTrader Platform:

Go to “Additional Options” on the NinjaTrader website and download the desktop platform.
After installation, enable Multi-provider Mode:
- Go to Tools > Options > General > Select "Multi-provider Mode."
- Restart NinjaTrader and sign back in.

Download & Set Up R|Trader Pro:

Download R|Trader Pro.
Open R|Trader Pro and log in using your Evaluation Provider credentials.
Ensure that both Market Data and Selective Mode are OFF.
Log in with the following:
- System: Evaluation Provider specifies the system.
- Gateway: Chicago Area.
Complete and sign the Market Data Agreements as a Non-Professional.

Configure NinjaTrader Connection:

Open NinjaTrader and sign in with your NinjaTrader username.
Go to Control Center > Connections > Configure.
From the 'Available' list, double-click Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage.
Enter your Evaluation credentials.
Set the System to "Specify the correct system and gateway."
Click OK and connect by selecting My Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage from the Connections menu.
Optional – Connecting R|Trader Pro and NinjaTrader Simultaneously: This allows both platforms to run together, with NinjaTrader pulling data through R|Trader Pro.

In R|Trader Pro:

Log out of R|Trader Pro.
On the login screen, turn ON Market Data.
Enable Allow Plugins.
Log in using your Evaluation credentials.

In NinjaTrader:

Go to Control Center > Connections > Configure.
Select your evaluation connection and enable Plug-in Mode.
Restart NinjaTrader after making this change.
Connect to your OneUp Trader Evaluation account in NinjaTrader.

Important Notes:

R|Trader Pro must be open and connected before NinjaTrader can connect.
NinjaTrader relies on Plug-in Mode to share data between the two platforms.

Verifying Your Entitlements:

To check if your NinjaTrader account has the correct entitlements:

Go to Control Center > Help > About.
Look for "Evaluation (Rithmic)" under the Entitlements section.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues:

If you can’t connect to your evaluation credentials and the evaluation account isn’t visible, contact ClientServices@NinjaTrader.com.

Include your email address, username, and state OneUp Trader Evaluation. NinjaTrader will manually enable the "Evaluation (Rithmic)" entitlement for you.
