MultiCharts

Step 1. Platform Subscription Information

You are required to have a personal license key for MultiCharts in order to use the platform.

License keys can be purchased via this link: MultiCharts Pricing

Step 2. Complete RITHMIC Market Data Agreements

Please start with Step 2 before contacting Support. Your MultiCharts connection will not work until you sign the CME agreements via R-Trader Pro.

You must first download Rithmic R | TRADER PRO in conjunction with any other platform you may use.
  • Use the following link to download and install R|Trader Pro Software: R|Trader Pro
  • Once installed, a new window will come up, enter your OneUp Trader account username and password in the appropriate fields
  • "Username" (USER ID - found in your welcome email)
  • "Password" (found in your welcome email)
  • "System" dropdown menu, select "Rithmic Paper Trading"
  • "Gateway" dropdown menu, If you are in the USA then select CHICAGO, if you are in Europe then select EUROPE or FRANKFURT, and if you are in Asia you will want to select TOKYO or SINGAPORE
  • When you connect, you have 2 CME GROUP Documents that you need to agree to.
  • Document 1: Click "I Agree" in the first one
  • Document 2: select either "Non-Professional" or "Professional" and then "Submit". Please note if you are a professional, OneUp Trader will have to invoice the exchange fee difference monthly to your card on file for the evaluation($405 for all four exchanges). If you are a professional user and are netted with the exchange, please let us know so we can kindly pass that on to our ISV.
  • Non-Professional - All regular market data included in your evaluation
  • Professional- CME-$105, CBOT-$105, NYMEX-$105, COMEX-$105

Important Note: If your username/password doesn’t work, try to COPY and PASTE it from your login email.

Step 3. MultiCharts QuoteManager

  1. In the QuoteManager main menu select Tools and then click Data Sources.
  2. Select Rithmic 01  in the list of all supported data vendors and click the Settings button.
  3. In the opened up window:
  • Authority section.
    Enter Login and Password.
    SSL certificates path is set up by default.
  • Connectivity section.
    Trading InterfaceRAPI trading interface is selected by default, but it is possible to select RAPI+ interface if your account supports this type of connection. This setting is global and affects the data feed and all existing Rithmic broker profiles. Trading Interface mode change will be applied after restarting the application. Full restart includes closing all instances of MultiCharts and unloading MultiCharts processes.
    Note: Please select RAPI+ or data will not be displayed properly in your charts.
  • Deployment: If you have  Rithmic Live account, select the required deployment ( Rithmic 01 is the default Deployment for Rithmic Live account). If you have  Rithmic Paper Trading account, select  Rithmic Paper Trading deployment.  Do not change default connection settings in this section.The  Reset button nearby  Deployment is to restore correct connection settings.

Step 4. MultiCharts Broker Profile

In the Properties Rithmic Paper Trading Broker Profile window (see Managing Broker Profiles) enter the information provided by your broker to connect to Rithmic.

  1. Authority section 
    Enter Login and Password 
    SSL certificates path is set up by default.
  2. Connectivity section 
    Do not change anything else in this section. 
    The Reset button nearby Deployment is to restore correct settings.
  3. Default Order Settings section. 
    Click Lookup and wait a bit while MultiCharts receives Trade Route information from the Broker. It can be, for example, only one option - simulator Trade Route, or it will be necessary to select one of the Trade Routes from the dropdown menu, depending on the traded instrument.
